Community Closet

After much thoughtful consideration, we have made the decision to close our Foster & Community Closet.

This space has been a deeply meaningful resource for many families in our community, and we are incredibly grateful for the generosity, donations, and volunteer support that sustained it over the years. We are proud of the impact it made and the connections it helped create.

At this time, we are no longer able to maintain the closet in a way that fully meets the needs of those we serve. While this chapter is coming to a close, we are committed to ensuring our community continues to have access to essential resources.

We are grateful to have partnered with Jody's Closet, a wonderful local free store where individuals and families can continue to access clothing and essential items at no cost.

Location: 7829 S. 5th St., Mattawan, MI

Hours:

Mondays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Tuesdays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Thursdays: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

1st Saturday of each month: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM

They welcome donations of gently used, clean clothing in all sizes. After-hours donations can be placed in the bin located behind the building. Please note that they are unable to accept toys or furniture.

We encourage anyone in need to visit and utilize this incredible community resource.
