Your time, skills, and compassion directly support children and families of all abilities, helping us create inclusive spaces where everyone belongs. Whether you have a few hours a month or want to get more involved, we have meaningful ways for you to make an impact.
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Ripple Effects Community Inclusion Center. Volunteers are essential to creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming spaces for the children and families we serve. The following guidelines help ensure a positive experience for everyone. -Commitment & Reliability Volunteers are expected to honor their scheduled shifts. Our programs rely on consistent support to maintain appropriate supervision and safety standards. If you need to cancel: More than 24 hours in advance: Notify us as soon as possible. Less than 24 hours before your shift: You must contact our Administrative Coordinator directly. **For cancellations within 24 hours:** Email Victoria at victoria@rippleeffectsinclusion.org OR Call 269-257-9060 and leave a voicemail if necessary. Repeated last-minute cancellations may impact future volunteer eligibility. -Age Requirements Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Individuals under 18 may volunteer only if accompanied onsite by a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for supervision. -Conduct & Expectations Volunteers are expected to: * Treat all participants, families, staff, and fellow volunteers with respect * Maintain appropriate boundaries and professionalism * Follow staff direction and safety procedures * Maintain confidentiality of all participant information Photos or videos of participants may not be taken or shared without organization approval. -Right to Release Ripple Effects Community Inclusion Center reserves the right to dismiss any volunteer at any time if policies are not followed or if behavior does not align with our mission and values. By volunteering, you are helping create a community where everyone belongs. We are grateful for your time, compassion, and commitment.
